Mr. V. K. Mahajan is the Founder & Managing Director of Uni Automation India Pvt. Ltd. and has over four decades of experience in precision sensing technologies. A COEP (1976) graduate, he began his career with L&T and Bharat Forge before founding Uni Automation. In 1995, he received the prestigious Parkhe Award from MCCIA for the indigenous development of Conductive Plastic Technology. In 2020, he was nominated to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) committee on Potentiometers and Resistors and currently serves as the Convenor of the international working group responsible for upgrading global Potentiometer standards. Under his leadership, Uni Automation has grown into a trusted manufacturer of high-performance sensors and control systems for industrial, railway, aerospace, and defence applications.
Mr. Niranjan Mahajan leads the company's technology, innovation, and new product development initiatives. With a strong academic background in Mechatronics and Electronic Systems with Sensor Technology, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening Uni Automation's engineering capabilities through the indigenous development of advanced sensing technologies. He successfully led the development of LVDTs and RVDTs, enabling Uni Automation to become one of the few companies globally with the capability to design and manufacture Quadraplex LVDTs for mission-critical aerospace and defence applications. He is actively driving the development of indigenous sensing and control solutions that support India's defence modernization and self-reliance initiatives. With a passion for engineering excellence and innovation, Mr. Mahajan continues to expand Uni Automation's portfolio of high-performance sensors and control devices for global OEMs.
